Emergency services called after paraglider crashes in Yorkshire Dales

The emergency services were called after a paraglider crashed in the Dales yesterday.

The incident happened on Addlebrough, near Bainbridge.

Members of Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team were sent to the scene to assist.

As they arrived near the summit of the hill an air ambulance managed to land and airlift the casualty to hospital.

The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
