
The emergency services were called after a car collided with a lorry and then overturned in Swaledale today.
The male driver of the car was cut free by firefighters using hydraulic cutting gear before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
His injuries are not thought to be serious.
Police, firefighters from Richmond and Reeth and the ambulance service attended the incident.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the accident was near Grinton.
The emergency services were called out at about 1.15pm.
