The emergency services were called to a three-vehicle collision on the A66 this afternoon.
The incident occurred on the westbound carriageway near Gilling West at about 4pm.
Police and firefighters from Richmond and Colburn attended the crash.
Nobody was trapped and the crews made the scene safe for the motorists and other emergency crews.
