Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision near Catterick Garrison during the early hours of the morning.
Fire crews from Richmond and Leyburn Fire Stations attended a single-vehicle collision on Range Road at around 1.15am.
One casualty was trapped inside the vehicle and required extrication.
Firefighters used stabilisation equipment and e-draulic cutting tools to safely free the casualty.
The motorist was then left in the care of paramedics at the scene.
