Police were called to the incident. It is understood nobody was injured.

Zach Thompson said the car nearly hit him and several other people.

“We were walking down the pavement and then the car crashed right in front of us – to be honest I thought it was either a crash or a terrorist trying to mow us down

“It looked like the person did not place their handbrake on and it came literally rolling down the hill full force.”

A local shop worker said the car caused significant damage to the vehicle it hit.

  1. Very unfortunate, but never likely to be terrorism! More likely to be sheep-related!
