Entries are now being taken for the James Herriot Country Trail Run on Sunday, July 30.
Now in its 17th year, the event takes place over a scenic 14k route on moorland tracks and paths near Castle Bolton.
Organisers say the start and finish is near Bolton Castle and the route is traffic free and well marshalled.
The event starts at 11am and is organised by Wensleydale Rotary Club in aid if local charities and is run under UK Athletic Rules.
