Entries wanted for Richmond garden competition

Richmond Town Council is inviting residents and businesses to take part in its annual garden competition this summer.

There are four categories for people to enter.

Judges will decide which of the following categories entries will be placed into:

  1. Large gardens
  2. Medium gardens
  3. Small gardens inc. patio and yard
  4. Public house/commercial premises

Garden vouchers will be awarded to the winners in each class and a trophy will be given to the overall winner.

Closing date for entries is July 17 with judging to take place on July 26

The council is also running an allotment competition on July 19, 20 and 21.

Entry is free but all entries must be for gardens within the town of Richmond.

 

The judging will take place on Wednesday 26th July 2023

 

(Closing date for entries is 17 July 2023)

 

 

  • The decision of the judges is final

 

  • Commercial Premises are allowed to enter one category only

 

  • Members of the Town Council will not act as judges.
