Event for Richmondshire residents with cybercrime concerns

An event will take place in Richmond Library for anyone with concerns about cybercrime, on-line fraud, postal scams, text and email scams and dating scams.

North Yorkshire Police cybercrime ambassadors and representatives from NatWest Bank will be available for any problems people maybe having.

This will be the chance for residents to report anything they have seen untoward on there devices or telephones, or what to look out for regarding scams or fraud.

Every month in North Yorkshire people are targeted and thousands of pounds stolen from bank accounts.

The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at Richmond Library from 1.30pm to 4pm.
