A Relaxing Time in Bath
Sunday 26th – Wednesday 29th September
£395 per person (Single Supplement £120) – price includes coach travel, 3 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at 4* Francis Hotel, plus admission to attractions on route.
We will begin our journey, stopping for a comfort break on route before visiting Calke Abbey, an un-stately Home & Country Estate. With peeling paintwork and overgrown court yards, Calke Abbey tells the story of the dramatic decline of the county estate. You will have a few hours to explore here before we make the last leg of our journey to Bath.
Our stay will be in a Regency Townhouse Hotel set in the heart of the city. Dating back to 1858 and developed through the acquisition throughout the terrace of townhouses, sadly the front façade was destroyed in 1942 during WWII in the Bath Blitz, however it has been sympathetically restored to its 18th Century former glory.
Bath is the original wellbeing destination, and the boasts the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. Take time to visit the Roman Baths or the more modern Therme Bath Spa. Bath is a mecca for culture; you can discover the city on your own esteem or book one of the many tours that run every day. You will have the whole break at your leisure to explore and enjoy this vibrant yet cultural city.
We will leave on Wednesday morning to begin our journey north, stopping at property on route – to be confirmed near to departure.
This trip departs from Scotch Corner, Richmond, Catterick Garrison, Leyburn & Leeming Bar!
Please call 01833 621302 to book your place – a small deposit of £10 per person is necessary to book your places on day trips – £50 for short breaks. This is refundable if we have to cancel the holiday due to low numbers or COVID 19.
