The Arena di Verona Festival honours Italian stage director Franco Zeffirelli, and his legendary production of Turandot. Under the stars, in the beautiful and historic Arena di Verona, the imposing cinematographic production brings to life imperial China through its immersive scenery and scenes, enriched by sumptuous costumes of the Oscar-winning Japanese costume designer Emi Wada.

Starring Anna Netrebko as Turandot, this Puccini masterpiece tells the story of a princess whose beauty was only comparable to her cruelty. She will only marry a prince capable of solving her riddles, but if he fails, he will die…
