Celebrating 20 years of Badapple Theatre touring, Artistic Director Kate Bramley re-presents the first show the Company toured with ‘Amy Johnson’.
The show follows the inspirational life of Hull aviatrix Amy Johnson, the first woman to fly solo from the UK to Australia. During WW2 she had a vital role as one of a team of female pilots working as auxiliary personnel.
Join Betty and Mabel, the two jovial WAF girls who follow Amy’s final mysterious wartime journey and celebrate her pioneering career.
Expect a good dose of Badapple humour, as well as a poignant tribute to Hull’s ‘First Lady of the Air’.
And a replica Gipsy Moth bi-plane to boot!
Tickets £10, under 16s £5. Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start
