Indulgent amounts of heavy body acrylic are applied directly to the canvas to build spontaneous compositions that pulsate with energy, coupled with the added delight of their tactile impasto surfaces.
Garry’s art is a serious business, yet within its abstract discipline he strives to make paintings that are a celebration of pleasure, joy and frivolity, all wound up in the undoubted beauty of colour.
