Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman have long established themselves as one of the UK folk scene’s most rewardingly enduring partnerships. The Dartmoor-based husband and wife duo have twice won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards ‘Best Duo’ title. Mixing traditional song arrangements with their self-penned material, they cover such subjects as wicked mermaids, Norwegian legends and a lonely whale.
