Four times nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and double winners of the Spiral Earth Awards Megson create a truly unique brand of folk music which combines an infectious mix of heavenly vocals, lush harmonies and driving rhythmic guitars.
Over the years, the duo of Debs (on vocals, whistle, piano accordion) and Stu Hanna (on guitar, mandola, and banjo) have gained a reputation not only for their arresting and intelligent songwriting, but for their exquisite musicianship and northern humour.

Their first new studio album in four years, ‘What are we trying to say’, focusses on how people rely on the media for information while still needing to work out what is the real truth.

Tickets are £15 in advance (£17 on the door) and under 16s are half price; on sale at Reeth Post Office or contact Glen Steward 01748-884989, email:  Proceeds are in aid of hall funds. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
