Joe Newberry and April Verch are both master musicians, and their Canadian/American duo collaboration is fuelled by a shared passion for traditional music. Newberry and Verch perform an entertaining blend of folk, bluegrass and old time Americana, with ballads, joyful fiddle tunes and poignant original and traditional songs.
Joe Newberry is an outstanding clawhammer banjo player, singer, songwriter and guitarist. April Verch is a world class fiddle player, step dancer and singer from Canada’s Ottawa Valley, who started step dancing at age three and playing the fiddle at age six!
Doors open 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
