Painting Workshop with Lynn Ward – \’Inspired by The Dales\’ | Wensleydale Community Arts Festival

 We are delighted Lynn has agreed to lead a workshop and share her experiences as an artist living and working in and being inspired by the Yorkshire Dales.

Lynn is an established Wensleydale Artist whose collection includes murals, sculptures, commissions, prints and cards. She balances art and running her business alongside spending time with her family and being part of community life.

Lynn also plays in Leyburn Band and Light My Choir! who are also taking part in the Festival.

Lynn began her career working for an architectural firm with whom she spent a number of years working on murals and sculptures for The Forbidden Corner, a tourist attraction in Coverdale near Leyburn, North Yorkshire. This variety of work put Lynn in good stead for when she became self-employed and worked on everything from murals to pantomime scenery, artist’s impressions right down to personalised illustrations.

The workshops are aimed at developing your knowledge of drawing and painting techniques and are suitable for mixed
abilities, whether you have a basic knowledge or you are an experienced practitioner.

All materials and equipment for the workshops are provided and included in the cost. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
