An exhibition of acrylic paintings, inspired by a passion for wild places, vibrant colour and the love of all things animal.
‘Up to now’ is the exciting first exhibition by Vicky Tucker – an eclectic mix of stunning paintings that mark where Vicky’s artistic journey has taken her ‘up to now’.
Initially training as a textile designer, Vicky returned to her grass roots of drawing and painting. She has being working professionally since 2007 mostly on a private commission basis. Vicky specialises in animal portraits and over the last twelve years has accrued a large customer base both nationally and internationally. The medium Vicky prefers is acrylic paint although she is equally happy to work in pencil, pastel and gouache. Vicky has an innate ability to capture the depth of character of her subjects and her level of fine detail is truly exceptional.
