A Wensleydale youngster has raised more than £750 for charity by having her long hair cut off.
Evie Hall, 8, from Constable Burton, who attends Spennithorne Primary School, decided she wanted to lose the locks to help others.
The sponsorship money will go to the Little Princess Trust, which provides hair wigs for children with cancer.
The 12 inches of hair which was cut off will also go to the charity to be used to make wigs.
Mum Lucy Hall said: “Evie is really grateful to those who have donated to this worthy cause and loves her new hairstyle as it’s really easy to brush!”
