The four sixth formers at Wensleydale School are celebrating A-level success today.

The students achieved a 100 per cent pass rate and each of them meeting or exceeding their aspirational target grade.

Wensleydale specialises in vocational courses aimed at developing students’ business skills and making them very when they leave or are ready to continue in higher education.

The four sixth formers are: Jack Chappelow, who is working locally in the food business; Caitlin Tyrala, who is working locally in the hospitality business; Mia Smith, who is going to study film and television production at the University of Greenwich in London and Jordan Cullen, who is going through the final recruitment to join the RAF.

Headteacher Julia Polley said: “After such a disruptive year due to Covid-19, I am so proud of our Year 13 students for their resilience, hard work and good humour.

“The internal awarding of grades went smoothly and this is due to the professionalism of our staff and students.

“I am delighted to say these four fantastic students have gained the grades they need to move to their next step.”
