A fashion show showcasing discounted high street brands is set to return to West Burton next week in support of a local arts charity.
BlueBoxt Creative and Performing Arts Charity has once again teamed up with Colours Fashion Shows to bring a night of fashion, music and entertainment to West Burton Village Hall on Wednesday, June 17.
The event will feature a catwalk show displaying clothing from well-known high street retailers including M&S, Next and Wallis, with many items available to buy on the night at discounts of up to 70 per cent off retail prices.
Organisers say the evening is designed to combine fashion and shopping with community fundraising.
Dawn, event host from Colours Fashion Shows, said: “Our ladies’ fashion show and shopping events are uniquely designed to offer a fun and entertaining experience.
“We bring premium high-street brands out into local communities at great prices.”
The evening will begin with live music from local performer Bee Darceey and will also include stalls showcasing work from local makers and artists. A raffle, bar and refreshments will be available throughout the event.
Funds raised will support BlueBoxt’s work helping people of all ages access creative and performing arts opportunities across the region. The event also forms part of the wider Wensleydale Community Arts Festival programme.
BlueBoxt Chair of Trustees Ray Wilkinson said: “We are looking forward to another great event which showcases local artists from Wensleydale and Swaledale.
“Last year was a fabulous fun evening and I encourage friends to get together, support the charity’s work and come along for an entertaining night out.”
Tickets cost £8 and include a welcome drink.
They are available online through the Wensleydale website and will also be available on the door, subject to availability.
