Feeding equipment stolen from farmer’s field

Police are appealing for information after the theft of farm animal feeding equipment from fields in Cottagers Lane, near Manfield.

It happened between 2pm and 7pm on Saturday, January 11.

The offenders entered the field and stole various items of feeding equipment, including two lamb feeders, three hay racks and two troughs.

The equipment has been valued at about £4,000.

A police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information about a suspicious Transit-style white van that was in the area at the time of the offence and details of any persons that were in the van at the time.”
