Three young tradespeople have been recognised for completing their apprenticeships at an evening hosted by the Worshipful Company of Fellmongers.
The event, held on Friday, celebrated the achievements of Luca Sartini of Randall Orchard, Harry Ball of Staley Stonework and Henry Griffiths of The Men’s Room, who have each successfully completed training in their chosen professions.
Luca Sartini and Harry Ball qualified in joinery, while Henry Griffiths completed his apprenticeship as a barber.
Each trainee was presented with a certificate of achievement, a monetary voucher to support them in their trade and a commemorative memento from the Company to mark the occasion.
The evening also paid tribute to members of the emergency services for their continued hard work and dedication to the community. Representatives from Mountain Rescue, the police, the fire service and local First Responders were acknowledged for the vital role they play in keeping residents safe.
Organisers said the event was an opportunity not only to celebrate the commitment and skill of the apprentices, but also to recognise the selfless service of those who respond in times of emergency.
