Community groups have just weeks to enter their bids for cash from a district council funding pot.
Each of the authority’s five Area Partnerships has £10,000 to award to local projects.
They can award grants to parish councils, community and sports groups for everything from large equipment purchases to smaller community noticeboards.
In the last eight years more than 400 groups have received a share of £255,856 in funding.
