The final preparations are underway for the first Leyburn Jazz Festival, which takes place from October 22 t0 24.
Organisers say the event has attracted some star names from the jazz world.
Friday night’s programme features the 2019 Parliamentary Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year Josephine Davies with her trio Satori.
Also that evening, Hot Club du Nord will play the music of Stephane Grappelli and the Hot Club de France while being led by violinist Emma Fisk.
Saturday night climaxes with Ian Shaw, twice voted Britain’s Best Jazz Vocalist at the BBC Jazz Awards.
Ian accompanies himself on piano as he regularly does at the iconic Ronnie Scot’s Club in London.
