Firefighters were called out this morning after a resident damaged a gas pipe.
The Colburn crew stood by with a hosereel after being called to the incident in the town’s Catterick Road at 11.35am.
They stood down when the gas board arrived.
The damage to the pipe was caused accidentally, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
