Firefighters were called to a house in Colburn yesterday evening.
Crews attended a property in Colburn Lane at around 5.20pm following reports of a fire inside the building.
On arrival, firefighters found the small fire was already out.
They used natural ventilation to clear smoke from the property before carrying out an inspection and giving advice to the occupants.
No injuries were reported.
