Three fire crews were called to a kitchen fire at a flat in Catterick Garrison late last night.
Firefighters from Richmond, Bedale and Reeth responded to the incident on Marne Road at about 11.31pm.
On arrival, crews confirmed there had been a fire in the kitchen of the property, although the blaze was already out.
The flat was mildly smoke-logged and firefighters ventilated the property.
Nobody was involved in the incident.
