Fire crews called to Richmond house fire

Firefighters were called to a fire at a house in Richmond today

Crews from Richmond and Colburn were called to an address in Victoria Road at about 3.10pm on Sunday.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire started in a sash window frame.

It caused 30 per cent fire damage to the window frame and thankfully did not spread.

A spokesperson said the cause was unknown.

Crews used one hose reel jet, small tools and a thermal imaging camera.
