Fire crews were called to an incident on Riverside Road in Richmond after reports of an unattended barbecue.
The call was received at 5.18pm, with crews from Richmond attending to investigate.
On arrival, firefighters located the BBQ, which had been left unattended in a car park, and extinguished it using a bucket of water.
