Firefighters were called to a moorland fire near Catterick Garrison on Monday afternoon.
Crews from Colburn, Richmond and Leyburn attended the incident at around 2.58pm, alongside Leyburn’s Argocat unit.
The fire covered an area measuring approximately 15 by 15 metres.
Firefighters used specialist wildfire equipment to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading further.
The incident was later left in the hands of the landowner.
