Leyburn Fire Station will hold an open drill night next week.
The event will be held from 6.30pm to 9pm on Tuesday.
A spokesperson said: “Ever wondered what goes on during a drill night?
“Then why not pop along to our open drill night.
“The event will include demonstrations by crews before visitors being invited to try out some pieces of kit too.
“Those who don’t want to get involved in the practical session can meet the crew for a chat on home fire safety and other work they do.
“There is no need to book, just show up on the night at the station on Grove Square, DL8 5AE.”
