Firefighters were called to an incident in Scotton last night.
A crew from Colburn attended the reports of a fire left unattended at the rear of some flat sat about 11pm
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crew located the fire in a drum.
“Knapsack sprayers were used to extinguish.”
