Firefighters were given extra training on how to rescue motorists trapped after a collision yesterday.
Crews from Leyburn and Hawes took part in the drill, alongside colleagues from Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The training took part in the yard at Metcalfe Farms near Leyburn.
The drill used live casualties, with five people released in under an hour.
