Firefighters were called out yesterday evening after a car reversed over a ledge.
The emergency services were called to the incident at Tower Street, Richmond, at about 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crew from Northallerton who were standing by at Richmond station attended a car that had reversed backwards and partially gone over a ledge.
“Crews assessed the stability of the vehicle which was firmly secured and gave advice to the owner to contact a recovery company.”
