Firefighters were called out yesterday after a child got their finger stuck in a bike.
Crews from Richmond and Colburn responded to a report of a child whose finger had become stuck between the chain and guard on a bicycle.
The incident happened at around 11am in Brompton-on-Swale.
Firefighters used bolt croppers to remove the obstruction.
They then administered minor first aid to the child’s finger and gave advice.
