Firefighters were called to a chimney fire at a pub in Leyburn.
The Leyburn crew was called out at 6.15pm on Wednesday to the King’s Head in Grove Square.
On arrival firefighters found the chimney to be well alight, and extinguished the fire using one hose reel, a 9 metre ladder and a thermal imaging camera.
The cause is believed to have been an accumulation of soot.
The pub is around a hundred metres from the fire station in Leyburn.
