A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was inconclusive and an officer would be returning to the scene today.
In a separate incident, crews from Leyburn were called after a road accident at Preston-under-Scar in Wensleydale just before 9pm.
They checked over two gas cylinders which were on a motor home after it had been involved in a collision.
The cylinders were made safe and removed from the vehicle.
