Firefighters were called to a fire on open land this morning.
The fire near Brokes, Richmond, involved an area of moorland approximately 250 square metres in size.
Crews extinguished the fire using a breathing apparatus, two wildfire packs, beaters and manpower.
The road was closed while the fire was being extinguished
