Fire crews were called to a report of a fire in a school today.
Crews from Reeth, Bedale and Leyburn attended a reported sighting of fire in the boiler room at Middleham Primary School.
The call came in at 12.37pm on Thursday.
Crews investigated the boiler room and the school and found no sign of fire.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said that with no risk to the school the crews left the site.
