Firefighters were called to a car on fire in Middleham early this morning.
A crew from Leyburn were called at 12.14am to the incident in a residential street.
Firefighters extinguished the car using a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the car suffered 75 per cent damage in the incident.
They were unable to confirm the cause of the blaze.
