Firefighters were called out this morning to gain entry to a house in Thoralby.
The Leyburn crew attended the incident at about 3.30am to help the ambulance service.
On arrival, crew used a triple extension ladder to access a first floor window and managed to wake the occupant, who then allowed paramedics access into the property.
No further action was required by the crew and the incident was left with ambulance personnel.
