Firefighters were called to a small fire started deliberately yesterday.
The incident happened at about 8pm on York Road, Colburn.
Colburn firefighters attended the small fire in the open near a foot bridge.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of fire is believed to be deliberate.
“The fire was out on arrival of crews.”
