Firefighters called to help remove patient from house due to hoarding

Firefighters helped remove a patient from a house yesterday due to hoarding making access difficult.

Crews were called to the incident in the Catterick Garrison area at 11.15am.

North Yorkshire Fire and rescue service said firefighters were called to help ambulance crews with the “problematic removal of a patient from a property due to hoarding”.

They added: “Fire crews cleared a pathway to exit and assisted in carrying the patient from the property.”
