Firefighters were called to a HGV on fire this afternoon.
The incident happened at Tupgill Park, near Middleham, at 1.45pm.
Crews from Leyburn and Reeth attended the fire in an engine compartment of the vehicle.
They extinguished the fire and gave advice.
The cause is believed to be a build of straw in the hot engine compartment.
A hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera were used.
