Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire in Richmond this morning.
The incident was reported at about 8.55am in Barningham Road.
A crew from Richmond responded to the small fire inside the kitchen of a residential property.
The fire had been extinguished by the neighbour prior to crews arrival.
Firefighters isolated electrics and checked for hot spots using a thermal imagining camera.
The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
Advice was given to occupant.
