Firefighters were called to a fire on moorland last night.
The Richmond crew initially responded to the incident near Hudswell just after 11pm.
On arrival they found around 60 metres of fire front and requested a further two appliances to help.
Crews used knapsack sprayers, beaters and wildfire blowers to extinguish the fire.
