Firefighters were called to rescue a horse trapped in a cattle grid by his leg yesterday.
Thankfully, 30-year-old Marty had managed to get himself free before they arrived.
The Richmond crew which attended the incident at Croft-on-Tees with the animal rescue team from Ripon helped the vet right the horse.
The incident was reported at about 7.10pm.
