Firefighters were called to an incident in Brompton-on-Swale on Friday afternoon.
Richmond crews attended a small fire inside a commercial property in Station Road.
Firefighters were called at about 4.40pm.
The fire was was out on arrival and removed from the building by staff.
The crew inspected the scene using a thermal imaging camera.
