Firefighters were called out yesterday to a woman who had become trapped inside her house.
The incident happened in Melsonby at around 8pm.
Crews from Richmond and Colburn went to her aid.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the woman had become trapped between a door and a fridge.
They released her using manpower and an immediate emergency care pack.
She was uninjured and left in the care of her family.
