Firefighters deal with deliberate fires in Richmond and Catterick Garrison

Firefighters were called to deliberate fires in Richmond and Catterick Garrison last night.

A crew from Richmond attended a pile of rubbish set alight in an outbuilding Queens Road at about 7.10pm.

Firefighters used buckets of water to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.

In a separate incident, the Richmond crew extinguished a fire in a playpark in Catterick Garrison at about 7.45pm.

They used a 45mm main jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.
